New RMR/RED BULL Drift Car @ Club V20 this Thursday Night (Long Beach)
i like it. it's not the beast that the gto is but it's cool. let's see how rhys millen does in his new car. i think this will level the playing field out. being it's not as powerful and torqy (sp?) as the gto. i seriuosly think rhys will have to drive much harder
Actually... This car has much more power and about the same torque as the GTO. This little ECOTec motor has amazing potential.
Ethanol burns much cooler then even leaded fuels which is great for a motor that has 9.7:1 compression ratio and still packs in over 30 lbs of boost. Its actually an advantage not a hinderance. Most of GM's drag ECOTec motors making over 1200 hp run pure ethanol. Also, GM has a campaign called Live Green, Go yellow promoting its line of environmentally clean vehicles.
The Spoiler is a Rotora 3D2 GT Wing and it is available from us or any shop the carries Rotora.
i saw that and was wondering if yall were running pure or not. i was reading up on ethanol the other day and apparantly it gets along very well with boost.

can you give us feedback from any testing Rhys has done with the car?

Quick couple of Questions...
Hardtop... Where can I get one?
Any Carbon Fiber ... hood, trunklid, top, etc?
When can I see RMR Solstice performance product on your site... then eventually on my Solstice?
Did you all document the build of this car?
If so, when and where can we see it?
and lastly... when can we see some pre-competition drifting vids of the RedBull RMR Solstice???
Best of Luck this season, you'll have the hottest car on the track.

The Hood, Top and Trunk are all Carbon Fiber. They are available through a GM source but I'm really not sure who. I will have to get back to you.
We are trying to get a Stock GXP now to start building street parts. Its going to take a little while but I would say come Fall you should start seeing parts on our site.
We do not have any docs for the build besides the motor. You can view the build book for the ECOtec at www.GMTunerSource.com and click on the link on the bottom left where it says "Sport Compact Build Book" Our motor is the 600-1000hp spec.
Videos and Pictures will come soon... We are setting up a new website.

I will have to get back to you on that... Most of the running has all been on the dyno so far. Once they balance all the power out, we will start chasis testing.
