    eh, hawians battle each other?
that's pretty tight. Now I can see why hawaii has thesome of the best state side drifters--- it's the competition.

I think its hard to say who's the best in the US. Most of the drivers that people listed are the known or "popular" ones (mostly California/some Hawaii, little Midwest. People don't think about the USA as a whole. You never know, someone from rural Alaska or in Amish dude from whatever state there from, could probably kick all the 'known guys' arses at drifting.

Till you have a competition will ALL drivers from around the USA, you can't say whos the best.

Did you guys ever wonder if the Japan D1 drivers are giving complements about US drivers just to make us feel good? They don't want to tell us we suck directly, and that were far from there level?

Another thought, would US drivers drive just as hard if the cones and collapsable barriers were replaced with concrete barriers? I think practicing with cones gets drivers too over confident. And When they do drive on a course with hazards they have this over confidence which makes them drive too hard, and more likely to crash. Most don't have that stress factor that comes with dangerous courses.

I know that for a fact that HRP is very hazordous. One small mistake and you can hit a light pole surrounded by tires.....

wondering why none of the hawaiin's have mentioned Kyle Arai...a FF drifter...the only REAL ff drifter if you ask me...he's got talent, but Ken has got to be my fav. just because he's amazingly young and has more talent than any of us will ever have...at the rate he's goin and at the age he's at...drift king2....haha

true but he's 17...and we're at least 18 and we're no where near his skill level...remember you keep on learning as you continue, even keiichi learns something...i think? so as we conitnue to learn he does as well...we're playing catch up...while he's jus chuggin along..

What's funny boridorioricorey is you say we aren't judging America as a whole, but the question was who do we think is good in the US. Everyone says who they know. Maybe I should say this. "Hey man, my brothers cousin has a friend from Minn who moved to Atlanta and worked for a guy that owns a shop that worked on a really cool s14 that this guys supposedly drifts and is really good"

Of course we don't know everyone and prolly never will. If someone wants to get noticed, enter a competition and then maybe someone can utter his name.

Also Tony(Foilman) from the east coast is amazing. He has some video on the forum of him and Chunky having it out. Great video.
