This DC Shoes Subaru WRX STi was last seen out-running a Porsche at 180 mph piloted by pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and his personal DC Shoes bodyguard Big Black at the 2005 Gumball 3000 Rally. Now, you can be the STi’s next driver—and owner!
3,000 miles in eight days across eight countries make the Gumball 3000 impressive. It’s the parties every night that make it legendary. Now DC Shoes and Action Media (the creators of Hot Import Nights (HIN) and HINCity) want to give one lucky winner the ultimate “drive all day party all night” prize package. HIN enthusiasts have a chance to become the next owner of Rob Dyrdek’s personal Gumball 3000 DC Shoes STi, and win the VIP treatment for the ultimate party scene at all 2007 HIN shows (including pre-party and after-party). We will also save a spot for you on the show floor at select events so you can show-off your new ride.

The mods done to the Gumball 3000 DC Shoes Subaru, now valued at more than $65,000 take this street car closer to the level of a true rally car without sacrificing comfort and daily drivability. The unique camouflage graphics wrapped with custom DC Shoes logos will make the winner of this ride look like a pro rally driver. Interior modifications include an on-board GPS, TV screen and DVD player and the dashboard has a custom iPod cradle. Vermont SportsCar handled the modifications---they're not a tuner shop, but a race team that hand-builds rally spec race cars. The DC Shoes Subaru is a street/daily- driver version of their competition rally cars, which they've built for the likes of Travis Pastrana.
In addition to upgrades that improve endurance, the car has handling and engine upgrades. A stock Subaru WRX STi puts out 300hp; The DC Shoes Subaru now puts 425 hp and has reached speeds of 180 mph.
