Um no Mithael you can't get a 13b for 1300. Not one for an FD. If you can. im getting one for sure. Also you guys are talking 3 rotor but have you looked into what it takes to install that 3 rotor? It isn't a straight bolt right in engine. If I am not mistaken you not only have to have the engine but also the subframe to bolt into the FD. That's why the swap costs so much from people. Doing it yourself takes alot of the cost down but the parts are still high. Now if you can fabricate everything then once again you can keep the costs down.
Subframe???? You mean the crossmember? And you dont even need that. There are a million manufacturers of 20b motor mounts for Rx7s. Well, prob not a million but that's all it takes mounting wise. Now there is some fab work involved but if you know your way around a welder and electrical work is not a prob, then the swap isnt all that difficult.
So price is all thats keeping you from swapping a piston engine???!!!!! Id almost send you the money if thats all it took. Come on man. You do check ebay right.
Cool, i'll send you my paypal address then. Start getting that money ready. Make sure you save enough to drive whatever you have at the time over here so you can take me before and after the swap.

I don't mean a 13BT. Just a plain old 13B from a GSL-SE in fair condition shouldn't be too expensive. My friend got a 13B built and ported for less than $1500. The guy who did all the work had to find find all the parts too. I guess rotaries are a little more common in OK. Most of them aren't in good condition, but that doesn't mean they can't be used. I know a really good 13B would be expensive, but I bet you could find one here in fair condition in a salvage yard.
Aren't there any NA 20Bs? 3Rotors would give me enough power without the boost.
