moderators,
i'm not trying to tell you how to run your site, but this forum desperately needs a "Beginner's Talk" section. Take club4ag for example. They have a whole forum section set aside for beginners talk, and no offense, club4ag isn't laughed at like this site's forum seems to be.
i think it would be the first step in putting some legitamacy back in the drifting.com name if there is a section set aside for all the video game drifting talk, the FWD "drifting" upstarts (dont get offended, but, come on, learning to drift in a FWD?! if you're good at RWD, then go on ahead), the 80000 what's a good drift car? posts, the junior high schoolers asking about buying a skyline, all the rants of 16 years olds saying they're not being taken seriously in the drifting world (instead of earning their legitamacy, like the 16 year old who won one of the spots in the D1 driver's search), and all the other crap talk that makes this site look bad.
this is such an easy step to take and i'm guessing it would make a huge difference in "cleaning" this site up. leave the serious drifting talk unobstructed by crap. dont allow a thread about GT3 drifting to be on the same page as a serious drifting post.
and if a beginner or who ever posts crap on one of the serious drifting sections, delete it! no questions asked. or move it to the beginner's section, if you want to be nice.
