I just happen to live in Karlstad, the start/finnish town of The Swedis Rally. I did not see any SS though, to darn cold for me!

Got a few bad pictures from the start. It was hard to get good pictures in the dark

solberg im rooting for.... wow the swedish rally was soo crazy... they slide like 120 mph on ice and snow.... its cool how they use the snow bank to bounce them back into the road when their sliding the corner....

Yeah, but if you hit the snow wall the wrong way the opposit will happen: It will suck you in and never let go again. That I know from personal experiense

does eney body know what mitsubishi ran in the dakar rally it looks like one of there concepts i saw but i think they called it an evo

Go Markko, fricken go! Go Ford! Go Fancois... I guess...
I hope Markko wins it this season, he did some amazing things last season, but I guess Petter deserved it more, and I don't know what Gronholm was doing, I'm thinking with the new Peugeot 307 he'll be a real force to be reckoned with.

edit: and I hope mitsu made their car more tame, that drivetrain system seems to be really hard for the drivers to get used to, they had some nasty crashes.

I'm really glad to see some other WRC fans here!!

I was really surprised at how hard Sebastian Loeb is running out of the box with a now 2 year old car. I was expecting Gronholm and the New 307 to come out guns blazing and thought the dominant force would be Ford's new Focus.

Who am I rooting for? The Ford team cause I'm a blue oval guy at heart and loved the Escort Cossies (I miss 'em). The new Focus looks awesome and now has the power to compete.

As far as drivers go my favorites are Petter Solberg cause he loves to win so much, Richard Burns and Carlos Sainz.
