  • The Mid Atlantic North East Drift Association Recruiting!

Let's get this going right, we want to see people from the north east and mid-atlantic starting the trends not just being a part of them!

    COPIED FROM MYSPACE BULLITENS

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

That's right and we're looking for members just like you! Right now, what Night Majik and MANEDA are hoping to accomplish is a goal of ten members per state in our area! Help bring us to this magical number by joining today!

Don't Drift? That's awesome! We're not just looking for drifters, infact the "D" in MANEDA should stand for DRIVER because we are looking for members who drift, drag, autocross, circuit race, rally, run time trials, pretty much any form of racing you can imagine we're hoping to get you in to our team.

Don't Drive or Race? That's also just as cool! As with any team, we can't just have a bunch of driver's trying to call the shots, we need an administrative board as well. We are looking for persons to fill the following spots:

    Treasuer (for each region)
    Events Coordinator (for each region)
    Spokesperson (for each region)
    Graphic Artists
    Web Administrator
    Technical Advisors
Mechanics (not just mechanical but also electrical and body)

If you're not the type to post a picture of your car, or don't have a car that you want to post a picture of, that's quite alright, simply send us a head shot or upper boddy shot of yourself and we'll get you on the site as well.

Our only requirement is that you are part of either the Mid Atlantic or North East. Simple enough, right? Of course! So what do you say, come on and sign up!

Interested? Excellent, I was hoping you'd say that! You can email me, davidadams@nightmajik.net or any of our team members for information on how to join in your area. Simply let us know about you and you are almost guaranteed a spot on the team.

Want to join? Oh wow, I thought you'd never ask! Here's what we need from you, get us some pictures as you will be granted access to your OWN page on the nightmajik.net website. Take as many pictures of you and your car(s) that you want and we will get them on the site ASAP! Besides the pictuers simply answer the following:

    What's Your Name:

    Date of Birth:

    Occupation:

    Quote:

    Vehicle(s) Owned:

and either I or someone from our team will do the rest.

Sounds simple, right? It is! The best part? There's no catch! There are no membership fees, no annual or monthly dues, we just ask for your complete dedication and loyalty towards the team and in exchange you'll be a part of a fast growing, yet extremely personal and family-like, group of racers, drifters and the like from all along the eastern seaboard! Oh, and every member gets placed into the top friends list on the MANEDA page.

Hope to hear from you soon,

    David Adams

Slight change of vehicular situations here in Night Majik and MANEDA.

The 200SX was a bad idea from the beginning and as such has been totally ditched from the team. Joe reclaimed his AE86 as rightfully his and I seemed to have gotten my hands on a nice little 1990 240SX Coupe. Boy, it's really gonna tick the world off when they realize that I'm not drifting the 240 and it's just going to be my daily beater until I sell it for far less than it's worth.

So the current standings are as follows....

          David Adams-Me-1986 BMW 325, 1990 Nissan 240SX
          Bobby Bermudez-1995 BMW 525i
Mike Perry II- 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX, 1990 Mazda Miata, 1983 Toyota Corolla, 1988 Volvo 240
          George Cannon-1991 300ZX Twin Turbo
Joseph Ottofaro-2006 Subaru STi, 1985 Toyota Corolla GT-S
          Craig Wildfeuer-1997 Eagle Talon TSi
          Brandon Carney-1995 BMW M3
          Donald Jackson-1989 Nissan 240sx
          Jennilynn Lugue-1998 Nissan 240sx

          Who's next......

DUDE! Yeah, I feel you . . . .I was actually talking to Chris (my boss) and he was telling me about Drift Alliance, I was quite impressed with what I saw and was wondering how MANEDA could actually become a part of Drift Alliance, but honestly, I thought DA would be a little too snoody to even listen to us, but yeah, I don't know I just sent one message to D411 and look where that landed me

Yeah, we're a bunch of Initial D loving fanboys (and girls, sorry JL) we're just going to do some MAD TYTE uphill and downhill touge runs in NYC. LOL!

No, seriously, right now, I honestly think that the D in MANEDA should stand for Driver or Driving simply because we've done more meetings and other events than anything. We've had a couple of road rallies with the SCCA and with other clubs just for fun and auto-x has been the name of the game as well with the BMWCCA and other sanctioning bodies. A few of our members have even been tearing up the track and taking home the prizes at Englishtown with drag racing, so I guess, as of late, we've been anything but a "drift association".

This, however, shall and will change shortly, we're teaming up with D411 to put together some NICE events, to be disclosed at a later date, that will really change the way people on the east coast think about drifting in general. A few tricks borrowed from the SCCA and from Japan as well.

All in all, it should prove to be quite fun and eventful for next season, right now, we've all got cars to put together and hopefully we'll all be done by the time the winter/spring events open up.

Oops! I might have just given away our up and coming events . . .LOL!

                I love this stuff!
