As far as I know its legit. RJ has been developing this show for almost a year. And as far as MTV goes almost none of their shows have their own dedicated website..its always just spawned off of the MTV site...and Trick It Out didn't even get that even though it had good ratings.

I have gotten some info on this, and it seems legit. Let me get more of an understanding and I will try and provide as much info as I can.

I was a little skeptical because of the elementary complexity of their website, but after talking to some people, I found out that this is semi-legit (although it's being shot as a pilot at this point, and not guaranteed to be on MTV yet).

We will be posting something up on EverythingDrift.com tonight in reguards to what we got from them and RJ. From there you guys can decide on how to proceed with it. So far it seems intresting on the concept and although the web site they created is fairly poor desighn and does not look legit it at all. It is, and was made in a rush due to a 2 week time constraint.

Drift Or Die Press Release is now up and readable on the site. RJ did verify that they are in pre-production and and are just looking for interested drifters to interview and possibly cast. Good luck to those interested.

yea....the only thing i really hope they do is get a host from within the industry. not some stupid rapper.... with that said, it sounds like a good way to push the sport, but the settings they will be usin for the comps might be alittle misguidin for alot of the younger viewers(parkin garage, down town LA) i can see even more (as if there arent already enough) stupid people tryin to do things they see in the show in their parents cars, then parents r gonna be very angry with the drifting community...

They already know who they want to cast as the host. Trust me its not some rapper or "Big C." type person, even though despite the taste of the show I give props to Big C for what he is doing.

The host that RJ wants to get is someone that I think everyone here would be cool with. It's just a matter of if they can get that person...
