I got a text on this early sunday and couldn't believe it. Here are a few photos from Turkey last year when he was subbing for Loeb in the Citroen that I found while looking through the archives.

i am in absolute shock right now and i will always remember colin for being the great driver and personality that always showed..all my thoughts and prayers are with the families.

Yeah the FIA has issued a statement on the wrc.com site. there's also a tribute podcast on there to colin as well.

that was cool it was a good way to remember Colin i just cant believe hes gone...its hard to put into words how big of an influence he was in my love for rally racing even though i wasnt old enough to see him in his prime i always watched rally with my dad and he would tell me how great a driver he was....and when i discovered the internet and watched him through the 90's rallies and its just amazing...sorry for going on again but when a personal idol dies so suddenly its hard for one get over the fact
