Here is the press release on the show:

Blake Fuller & Drifting School to be featured on SPEED TV Channel Sept 27th, 2007

Sarasota, FL (September 9th, 2007) – Speed TV, known for its diverse automotive, motorcycle and racing programming will be airing a special NOPI Tunervision episode September 27th, 2007 that will feature the shows host, Charity Hodges learning the basics of drifting at Blake Fuller’s Sideways School. Another Sideways School student, Stephanie Mellow also appears in the episode giving her take on being a female racer and what a first experience at drifting feels like. This episode will also feature candid interviews with the top two drivers in NOPI, Blake Fuller from Braille Racing and Bill Sherman from Enjuku Racing. In depth discussions of the drivers teams and their cars will also make the highlights of this exciting episode!

It has been a very successful racing year for Braille Auto and its sponsors. Braille Auto’s professional drift team and driver, Blake Fuller promotes the sport of drifting through both their racing and education. Sideways School, owned by Blake Fuller has partnered with Competition 101 Racing Schools to provide a well rounded (no pun intended) driving education to circle track racers and drivers looking to gain understanding and experience in oversteer (“sideways”) driving conditions. The school offers one and two days courses that teach the basics of drifting and provide additional one-on-one education for drivers of all skill levels.

The points race for the 2007 NOPI championship has been very close between the number 1 and number 2 spots occupied by Blake Fuller of Braille Auto and Bill Sherman of Enjuku Racing with often less than 10 points separating the drivers. Both drivers are based out of Florida, but have very different racing backgrounds despite being close friends. Speed TV’s, City Lights Media crew spent some time with both drivers to learn more about their racing careers and their cars. Blake comes from a professional racing career of rallying and touring cars and Bill Sherman was “raised on the streets of drifting”. This show also sheds some light on the all mighty dollar and how money can change the way teams operate and what effects it has on a team’s performance. Both Blake and Bill talked about their opponent’s strengths, and also their weaknesses! This is a very exciting interview as the National Championship being held at Atlanta Motor Speedway September 15,16th 2007 the winner is yet to be decided.

Racing is also about the cars and Blake Fuller and Bill Sherman put their cars through the paces by drag racing and drifting them on camera for the Speed TV audience’s excitement! Both drivers also took the host Charity Hodges for a drive. Find out what she thinks of the cars and the drivers in this show.

Speed Channel which reaches over 80 million households and the NOPI show averages a very high Neilson rating as one of the networks most popular shows! Produced by City Lights Media, the NOPI TunerVision show chronicles the racing and the lifestyle of the NOPI Professional Drift Series and will cover all 8 rounds of the championship. Be sure to tune into Speed Channel Sept, 27th 2007 at 10pm EST to view the program. For complete programming time and channels, go to www.speedtv.com
