what do u mean by tank slapper?
The term "tankslapper" started as a motorcycle term describing when the front wheel moves back and forth violently and sometimes the handlebars would "slap" the gas tank. It evolved into a car term though, to describe when the tail end of the car fishtails back and forth. I've heard that it came from the fuel slapping the sides of the tank as the *Censored**Censored**Censored* end of the car wags back and forth. I'm only going to be carrying car parts, and I only care about the second definition of the word.

I'm sorry Tank Slappy guy, but 10% can be obtained anywhere. You know the term, you get what you pay for. If you were willing to give a much more substantial prize, you would get yourself a wicked nice logo. *hint *hint*

I'm capable of doing more on *some* products, but my margins are very low on others. Offering a higher percentage across the board could cost me a LOT of money. I could offer 5% over my costs, but that doesn't really tell you a whole lot.

Hmm, very interesting. Do we have permission to use that image though? Where did you get it from?

                  Just having some fun

Been soooo long since I've messed around with Photoshop. Even though I just took the class last semester. Just seemed like a good challenge to make a simple logo. I doubt this will win. Just something to do. I figured I should use the graphic from your website and have some of the manufacturers of parts you will be selling. Have fun.

I have plenty of fun fonts. Why don't you give us an idea of what you want? i.e. industrial, speed, cartoonish, script type, etc.

My thought was realistic, but highly stylized. Maybe just the outline of the car in mid-drift. I'm open to other ideas though...

                              So Matt,

Have you come to any conclusions about your logo?
Find something you like or not satisfied yet?

I've gotten a few decent submissions so far, things that would work very well on the website. For shirts, and for the side of the cars that I sponsor though, I need less of a picture, and more of a stylized logo. That is what I don't really have so far.
