Falken Split?!

hey all,

I'm assuming no one official will answer this but i was wondering if Falken will be splitting up for the D1/ Formula D weekends?

I dont wanna be a *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored* or anything but in englishtown there would have been no real US dominance/ competition to oppose the JDM drivers if falken and DA didnt show up.

since it looks like D1 will be a points series this year, i would hope individual drivers will chose based on their points

just wanted to hear some opinions from a few drivers/ teams.

D1 was supposed to be a point series last year... but that didn't happen.

I would be quite surprised if D1 has a full point series for next season. Really surprised, I would love too see it happen... but i dont see it happening.

But anyway, I'm glad you brought this up... because I really really feel that Team Falken should seriously simplify there team. It seems like there number of drivers really impairs there consistency. Why have a 8 car team all under the same tent when its the same 2 guys getting on the podium, and not even on a consistent basis.

Last person they had on the podium overall was Chris Forsberg back in 04... correct me if I'm wrong. They let him go, comes back 07, with a smaller and seemingly lower budget team and he gets 2nd overall. There is a pattern, I'm not even saying getting rid of some of the teams and drivers, just say simplify it. Spread it out, instead of one team, one tent, with 8 drivers. 4 teams with 2 drivers, more independently ran.
