  • Anyone in North Carolina

Does anyone live in or near North Carolina that knows of a legal drifting area, I have been searching for weeks and don't feel comfortable in parking lots,(since I have no idea what the laws are here). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In a small hick town called Angier, but its kind of close to Raleigh (45 minutes). I'm mainly looking for a place to practice, some where I can go even if there is no event, and without having to drive out of state. I've called a few tracks with road courses and everyone says that their tracks are not set up for drifting.

Only one so far, but looks as if they'll be more.

You can find more info on this import performance forum

That telephone pole down at the far end looked really close? Not to mention the chainlinked fence up at the near end.... Large areas of pavement are hard to find "round these parts"...

There's drifting at Myrtle beach Speedway in Conway SC sometimes also... but yes, it's far from you guys out west.
