You can sell the car you're driving now for a lot more than what a beat-up 240 or even Corolla would cost. What do you plan on buying? A minty '98 240 with an SR swap so you can just wrap it around a pole trying to learn how to drift? You do know you're going to crash, right? Don't be that guy in a fwd car with drifting stickers on it. At least get an old 4-banger fox-body mustang. You could probably buy 5 with the change you get for your car.
