TEAM DRIFT @ Long Beach Grand Prix
Team Drift Continues During the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 16-19, 2009
The Grand Prix of Long Beach Street Course has been around since 1977. Highlighted by the Champ Car World Series, the Long Beach Grand Prix also has added the American Le Mans Series, Atlantic Championship, Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race, and now Formula DRIFT.
Formula DRIFT is now in the 3rd straight year at the Grand Prix of Long Beach Street Course and has expanded to have their own event one week prior to the Long Beach Grand Prix.
Competition Format
All drivers/vehicles listed on the team entry are eligible to compete.
Each team may only have 3 vehicles on-track during each session.
Drivers are able to rotate driving duties between sessions and between competition rounds.
Teams will be driving an entire street/road course, but will only be judged on selected, key turns. (Detailed judging criteria available)
20 to 35 minute session each day (Fri, Sat, Sun)
Friday = open practice
Saturday = qualifying
Sunday = competition

7:00 PM - Formula DRIFT Driver Autograph Session at the Pike of Long Beach (near Gameworks)
Friday, April 17
5:05 PM – 5:25 PM – Team Drift Qualifying
Saturday, April 18
12:50 PM – 1:10 PM – Team Drift Qualifying
Sunday, April 19
11:05 AM – 11:30 AM – Team Drift Competition
