D1: Why don't they run with the windows down?

Quite a few of the D1 driver's still have power window's in their cars. And if I'm not mistaken Nomura's car still has the navigation.

Yea Drifting is a little different than Full spec racing. Yea alot of them are race prepped, but alot of them are also still street legal. So keeping power windows is understandable. I ain't taking my windows out, no way. Plus in mid-slide it's always a good idea to know exactly where on earth you are. So navigation is crucial.

yea, all D1 cars must be street legal, concerning the drag caused by windows down, I read that at 60mph it is more fuel efficient to turn the a/c on than to keep the windows down because of the enormous amount of drag, but thats probably not why they were up, I just don't like wind in my face at 60+ mph
