Did they ever have anything besides the FD that won the 2004 D1GP? I never really saw much of Apex'i out there. I definitly want to see what they have in store for Formula D.

There were 3 FD’s built for drifting by A’PEXi:

            Driver: Youichi Imamura (2003-2005)
            Vertex Ridge Wide Body Version

Built as a LHD car for the USA during the first D1GP USA event in 2003

Later converted to RHD in the middle of the 2008 Formula D Series

Campaigned with Bergenholtz Racing/ Nitto Tires (2007-2008)

            Driver: Ryuji Miki (2007-2008)
Vertex Ridge Wide Body Version, White-Blue-Yellow graphic scheme

Campaigned as A’PEXi/ Hankook Tires (2009), 2 podium finishes at Las Vegas, NV (Round 4- 2nd place) and Sonoma, CA (Round 6- 3rd place)

            Driver: Ryuji Miki (2009)

R-Magic GT Wide Body Version, Matte Black/Red graphic scheme

Car No. 3 – Built by A’PEXi Co. Ltd. Japan

Nice spyshots, blaze1 -- thanks for posting them.

Looks like the car is coming along well, I'm imagining it will debut at Seattle, maybe? I think the FD3S may be starting to show signs of wear catching up with it -- not sure why, but it just seemed like it wasn't as sharp or responsive at Atlanta as I remember it being in past years... (Maybe I'm just crazy and imagining things, though.)

Interested to see how the introduction of a new chassis fares for Apexi and Drift Emporium. I'm under the impression Droo-p has had limited success with the SC430 that Kazuya Matsukawa is driving in D1GP.

HAHA sorry guys, I did not take these shots.

They were taken by Rob Nishida and were on his blog, just posted them up since no one did already.
