im about to call scott since my car is at numovementz as well and b1tch that i want the same exact treatment!
hahaha i dont think ill end up biting ur style completely with the roof-off stuff but im definitely paying attn to how ur car turns out
For those that dont know, NuMovementz is the new version of Shaun Carlson's NuFormz. Same location, but is now owned and operated by Shaun's former employees Scott "Chip" Stanwood and Pauly (dont remember last names lately). In honor of Shaun and how much we all dearly loved him this was a joint effort by scott and pauly to keep the dream alive and i know that Pat and I are proud to have our cars built there and the work is that of which Shaun Carlson himself would be proud. if anyone needs SERIOUS fab work...go to NuMovementz and support scott and pauly for keeping the dream alive!

Now that the bash bar was all done, we decided to test fit and mount up the front end. Here you can see we shaved off the inner frame of the hood leaving only the skin.
We were lucky enough to also acquire a lexan windshield for the Z. After some minor trimming it fit perfectly!
As you can see, the roof of the car has been re-attached. This lets you see the shape of the hatch and quarter panel return. You can again see the inner fender well has been left alone, but the B pillar has been removed. The space that will be covered by the new fiberglass quarter panel can now be seen.
Since AIT Racing also gave me a carbon roof, we decided to lay it across the roof to test fit and have an idea of how it will look. It obviously wont sit flush until it is sealed on, but we wanted to see it anyway. You can also see the strut bar we built into the rear strut towers.
Once we finally got our new quarter panels in, it was time to fit and mount them. We were lucky enough to make them out of a new fiberglass material called S-Glass that is almost as strong as carbon and lighter than normal fiberglass. Here is the first test set of quarter panels mounted on the car.

After making a rear bash bar, we mounted the rear bumper.
