Myself (Alex Kors) and Quoc Ly were chosen to be 2 of the 8 rig drivers for the 2010 XDC season. This is an unbelievable opportunity for us both and we're very excited for the season. We have decided to team up for the season and provide support for each other at the rest of the event's starting with Vegas.

XDC Irwindale was an awesome event and I know we both kind of scrambled to get our cars together. With a 2 month gap in-between Irwindale and Vegas we have a ton of time to prepare.
My car is in the XDC rig and I have a bunch of work to do when I get to Vegas. I have to:
Last time I saw my car.
Change my rear wheel bearings (a huge failure @ Irwindale for me, which ended up making my rear brakes drag on the bank)
Re-Install Tomei Diff (thought I broke it @ Irwindale so we put in a welded)
Change Oil with new oil from my new sponsor Green Oil!
Put in my clutch fan and shroud
Back off timing
Fix my overheating problems
Before I go to Vegas:
Pick up tires from my new sponsor: Falken Tire!
Pick up oil from my new sponsor: Green Oil!
Pick up misc basic maintenance parts from West Covina Nissan.
Quoc's took his car back after Irwindale so he could run FD Long Beach Team Drift but he needs to:
Have his car resprayed (same color)
New gas tank (baffle is broken)
Brake controller
Dial in suspension
Oil cooler
Neons/strobes/ (possibly) graphic scheme
We're very excited to drive the XDC Vegas event as this is the first official time they'll be running the actual road course at Las Vegas Motor Speedway instead of the parking lot next to it. The competition is going to be a lot stiffer in Vegas so not only do our car's need to be ready, we need to both be mentally prepared as well.
For me I know that the transition back into drifting after being on hiatus after 3 years has been great but I have a ton to work on. A lot of it for me has been mental and not just "going for it" every run (something that has led me to totaling a car at Irwindale in the past.)
Quoc can chime in here with anything he wants to add.
We hope to see everyone in Vegas having a ton of fun! I know we'll be there doing the same.
