Well, I had a request to make a Thread about the Toyota Cressida/ Old Chaser. I think we can make the posts have info like what engines/transmissions we can swap in, suspension parts, and making it a little old V.I.P machine. We can also posts pics of some nice cressidas.

The Cressida has a 3 liter inline 6 engine pushing out 190 hp. It's RWD and hard to find with a manual transmission. A new transmission or engine can be swapped in.

I know how to search, I was ASKED to start a thread by someone who has as many posts as you do. This thread is to help people who want to buy a cressida or new people who want something different than a 240, FC, or Corolla, for an affordable price.

Its my fault for not searching for this, but relax, its not we asked "whats a good drift car" or... "Whats the best color shifting paint for a drift car"

also the US spec 90ish cressida is the MX83 which has the same sus as the JZX(gx)81 cresta/chaser/mark II so the sus will swap over. the MX83 never(as far as i know) came with a stick in the US but all the bold holes are there and an MAZ70 supra peddal *Censored**Censored**Censored*. with bolt in along with the 5 speed out of the same car...nice and easy..

JZX81 coilovers fit, as well as probably jzx 81 sway bars from largus. u could get a 1jz swap or also manual trans from an older supra. I think the cressida is wat im am going to be getting once i have my liscence

oh man.. sooo nice... thats what i wanted to do to my beat up old cressida... n wanted to swap a supra motor into it... didnt have the funds...

ok ok...maybe not as shiny...this is what i want to do if i ever get a laurel...i can get one for 50,000 yen (around 480 usd)...what kinda tranny would i swap in for a 5 speed? skyline? cuz it takes the same rb20det
