  • (NEW CAR) DAIJIRO YOSHIHARA'S 2011 S13 Photo

    What do you guys think

Our teams have been back to the drawing boards to get creative due to the the changes in allowable tire width and body structure for the 2011 Formula Drift rulebook. It should be an interesting year for all the teams involved.

Mike Kojima took a quick snap of Daijiro Yoshihara's new chassis for the Discount Tire S13 at SPD Metal Works, freshly blasted.

I don't doubt you but how do the Japanese tuners deal with it?

LOL I touched on that a bit in the Ross Petty thread

I think there is a missing ingredient to building a 90s Japanese motors that got lost in translation here in the states. Something is not torqued down right, apexi sending us bad head gaskets in revenge of Hiroshima... I don't know, but something isn't right lol.

Plenty of SR's in Japan. Not so much here. Cost to power ratio goes down by the time you get decent SR here stateside. NAPA, Kragen, and Pep Boys don't carry SR parts. Many more years of tuning by tuners IN Japan before they even started becoming popular here. Blah, blah, blah............You should get the picture.

Mike, Scott, Dai, lookin' good. Rocket Bunny S13.4 Kouki this year?! Hmm?
