    I'd go with the 5 speed just in general.

    The way i look at it a auto can be a handicap. fwd can also be a handicap, heavy is also a handiicap. I try to stick to as few handi caps as possible. i think you will enjoy your drifting experience better.

    Plus a highstrung FWD NA car like a celica a 5 speed will be preferable.

    but it comes down to personal choice.

      drifting fwd depends on who you talk to and what your definition of drifting is, if you ask me i'll tell you no, a fwd can't drift.

      as for automatic, not the best choice buy it'll definently work
