    INTERCONTINENTAL DRIFT SERIES By XDC & KING OF EUROPE

    The convergence of the worldwide drifting took a significant step forward today as XDC Drifting and King of Europe Drift Series announced an alliance based on a shared vision for united drifting. The alliance will allow both companies to create a new unified world drift championship called "Intercontinental Drift Series".

    Intercontinental Drift Series will be a fresh new competition with an enthusiastic and passionate staff that have only one goal; To create the best event in the world. Incorporating all the good things that both drivers and spectators like to see!!! Building on our previous experience and events, it makes sense for XDC and King of Europe to launch the Intercontinental Drift Series competition in 2012. In conjunction with worldwide television broadcasting, we will secure the right location and will make full use of the existing contacts we have already gained to create a massive buzz in the drift world.

    The XDC showcases the country’s rising Drift stars, featuring an eight-round drifting championship, over USA and Canada, set in a full-scale lifestyle festival.       That was my first thought. The second was, "Isn't XDC geared towards the grassroots drifter more than a guy with the budget to drift internationally?"

        I've heard that the dude who runs king of europe is a sheister, and his events suck. This coming from someone who's competed in europe. I wonder if anyone from XDC has actually met with king of europe people at all?! or was this a deal done over the internet?
