            Japan
            K-Style
            326power
            Sui Vax

            USA
            ASD
            Hot Line
            Garage Boso

Note: Alot of cool shops in japan so the bottom 2 are subject to change. IMO there's slim pickings in the states due to the economy and the form>function phase the industry is going through. But with that said RMR and DriftSpeed are honorable mentions.

-Best in the USA and Japan based on R&D
Ex. advancements in suspension setups ect.

Nope, I'm talking about the consumers. All this hellaflush, super low garbage is getting way out of hand in the scene. When the grassroots drift scene first started growing and folks started to run low offsets, lots of camber on a lowerd stance it was to emulate the japanese style of drifting.

And parts of it worked for a while. But now people are doing the same thing to accords and vw's purely for aestethic values, new age ricers is what I call it. There was a period when IMO the ricers grew up and ditched the big useless wings and body kits and started focusing on performance but now it seems as if a new breed of ricer is born.

                  This

                  Is now this

Function over form is evident in all motorsports...even in the beloved D1GP. Its all about getting the best parts at a reasonable price and availibilty. Just so happens in America things that are good, cheap, and easy to find are ugly in some folks oppinion (mine included). I would be nice if they actually looked like race cars....but hey!

I think regardless its expensive to have balance as a consumer coming out of pocket. Alot of guys are selling there prized pieces of machinery for economical sedans and vans to haul the kids they have been having. Mortgages need to be paid so buying your sweet HKS exhaust is now on hold. Evolution I guess...
