All the successful RX chassis have been rotary powered.

2JZ would be the worst choice.

Most racers are choosing N/A power for a reason, and it's hard to find better packaging than a pushrod small block. Performance-to-weight, performance-per-dollar, etc are all very favorable for the LS.
