    Let me guess...

Is it a S chassis with a V8 in it?

Bout damn time... that chassis is 100 in drift years.

I understand the whole "familiarity" standpoint of sticking with the same chassis but if you have the ability to do that much to your car, you can't use that point anymore. The difference between a full-on race-ready chassis and its stock counterpart is no more similar than a different car altogether. There really is no point in using an S-chassis when there is already a sea of them out there.

Um....Call me crazy Cavi but maybe he simply likes this chassis. I know it's not the most original idea on the grid but hell.....There are a lot of S chassis fans out there and Matt may be one of them.

          So what

Cost to stay competitive is ALWAYS the bottom line. I'm sure Matt has thought about a different car at some point, but he made the right decision. New chassis can also man new problems, time to learn the chassis, money, and so on. I bet he said screw it and stay with what he is comfortable with. Everyone knows why they are popular, and competitive. Matt's S14 placed 6th in the championship in the old car with the improved drivetrain. Unless Dodge or any other Sponsor interested in drifting hands him money and keys to compete with, he will stay what he knows will win. Matt vs Walker will be interesting.

Pretty tame compared to years past....For the most part it looks cool....Not a fan of black wheels though. Good luck to Matt!
