The season will be awesome! I don't know how it can top the 2012 season (record crowds at every event, lots of drama, some amazing tandem, etc) but I feel like it will. 10 years strong!
I hope to see some new builds. A BR-Z on grid would be cool.

Tony Stewart breaks into proam drifting.
Kevin Wells gets even harder on the cars to make sure no over-bending of the rules takes place.
A fourth Judge, or something big changing in the judging dept.

Texas FINALLY gets a round in FD.
FD moves to 8 rounds, placing Texas in at Round 5.
FD Proam feeders get their act together, and make drivers follow the same rules as PRO FD. i.e. getting Proam Technical Inspectors trained by Kevin Wells. Following the chassis/subframe, and tire rules from the pro FD Rulebook.
Seriously. Why is this not happening already.

- The 2013 Rookie of the Year will be from the ProAm Ranks, and likely American born (first American born ROTY since 2006?)
- A Mazda RX-8 will earn a podium for the first time in FD history*
- An FR-S or BR-Z will earn a podium for the first time in FD history
- Texas will be won by a driver who has never won an FD event before
- someone will earn a perfect qualifying score during the season
- Formula D will hold events on 5 continents in 2013
*Mazda RX-8 - Mazda has podiums with Ryuji Miki in the FD RX7 and Justin Pawlak in his FC RX-7
