Nissan is making so much money off the Z and G35 dude... they will bring the skyline.

Yeah, I have no doubt that we'll see a GT-R in the US.

Now, I just wish Nissan would bring back the Silvia / 240. As much as I hate to say it, the 240SX is quickly becoming the "new civic", and Nissan is stupid if they don't capitalize off of that.

However, one point to make is that, in a way, the new Silvia is actually the Z. It's two door, relatively light, FR, and actually costs about what a new Silvia would.

GT-R is making its way to america

of course most people in the drifting community feel that the 240 has become the "civic" of drifting but nissan is not going to bring the 99+ silvia's over to america just because of that reason...more less they wouldn't bring it just because drifting has become such a phenomenon....they are trying to appeal the mass market for everybody....and drifters and enthusiast only make up a small percentage of that mass market so if they don't capitalize it and bring the 240/silvia then oh well but i mean it would be freakin nice to see that beauty on the streets (in the US that is) ....and if they did happen to bring the silvia over chances are they would "water" it down and swap out the SR20DET and put in an SR20DE or maybe even a Ka but who knows.........i would love to see it here though..
thats just what i think.......so don't go mad crazy on me!

I think the G35 is a great car. Nice sporty body.... but personally i think Nissan made a mistake by using the shell as the new skyline body... The R34 is better than the G35 in my opinion. Though my favorite is the R33. Atleast Nissan could have redesigned the R34's shell and made a much better car. I love the fact that the Skyline is coming to america. I'm sure it will be a hit, but the "V35" isn't what I though would come. The attached photo is what I would rather see.

I aboslutly love the Skylines. And when I heard they were coming to the US i freaked. I though it would be awesome. But these new "V35" Skylines will be just decked out G35s to me. Atleast this is more like what should come. Nismo Skyline R35 GTR A bit wierd looking I understand. But atleast it captures the essance of the Skyline series.

I still think they should not go and make the skyline a concept or look like a g35 i think it should look a little bit different than an r34 and have like a rb27dett hahahaha hope it comes true though

Well i have to admit, i didnt like the G35 at first either.. but its grown on me.. Alot so much so that when i see one i go "oooooh sexy" especialy in silver... That said they will be changing the body panels alittle, or so they have said, Hopefully the accents will be just right and it will all come together. We already know its going to be a performer.. thats not a problem, especialy with a relatively big v6 twin turbo. I wouldnt mind seeing a destroked varient of the current engine personally.

The G35 is definatly a pretty car, there is no doubt about it... I juts hope the numbers stand a chance on the track. From what I've heard/read, The G35 is running a 5.6 second 0-60 time. Numbers arent bad, but I'd like to see the Skyline run atleast a 5.0 or better. I really hope for better.

I also think that the G35 body looks more like a the 350Z in a way.

This excert is from cars.ign.com. They test drove the car for 5 days and wrote about each day.

"We got a lot of looks in the 350Z, we even got some stares in our time with the G35 sedan. And we see our fair amount of stares in the G35 coupe, but it's not the kind we're used to seeing. We get hot moms and middle-aged dads looking at the svelte Infiniti, but no one our own age.

Not many Gen X or Yers give us the look at all. In fact, very few people our age take a gander at the G35. The few that do give us that look like they're thinking, "Your dad loaned you the car eh?" And it's not because it looks like an older guy's car--although we get a lot of those looks--it's because it has the really expensive and not so youthful feel to it.

Yes, you have the little pocket rockets that are coming out now with more power and higher performance like the Evo and the STi, but the G35 is in a different segment. Instead of boy racers wanting a ride, you'll get hot moms [wanting the same]."

We really couldn't have said it better. The Infiniti G35 Coupe sells itself so well on so many levels. We aren't too thrilled about giving the refined coupe back to Infiniti, but we must. Final thoughts tomorrow."

So people there you have it. If you are a MILF hunter have at it. I Still tink that orange one up there is wicked awesome lookin'. Heres a shot of the concept as a real car.

that color is like a candy orange which is pretty damn nice!
actually the G35 i've grown to accept it and like it but if they end up bringing a GT-R over to america they should change up the tail-lights and replace them with the circular tails like the concept GT-R....
I'm going to try and find a picture incase you guys dont know what i'm talking about
but hey if they bring the one that vertigoepidemic put up then that would be great to!

No matter what we have to accept the V35... but I can already tell there is going to be a HUGE aftermarket for the new Skylines. From mechanics to cosmetics. If the new Skylines are economically priced right, then they will sell well and lead to a plethera of cosmetic parts returning it to its very aggressive look.

I've never driven a car with an RB in it, so personally im fine with the VGs. From what I.ve heard its a VG33DE(TT) right?
