dude... i'm sorry but this story seems a little fishy to me. 1. cops wouldn't take action like that based on a woman saying that a vehicle was moving too fast(specifically 45 mph). 2. how do u lose that many cars? part or all of this story is a bit exaggerated

look my first careless was called in by this old fart who said i tried to hit him, no cop present, no video, nothing and guess what i got 25 hours of community service, then my second one was just stupid on my part, 105 in a 55. so this time im just going to give in i really need for this to blow over fast, i really dont need to be dealing with this court thing for a long time, just get it over, get my licence back buy my car back(i sold it to a friend that i can trust) and just take my lickings. but what ever you know driving isnt the most imortant thing in my life. i cant loose the things that are important, if i fight this and it takes forever i might loose those so i think i will take it and hope for a light sentance.Last edited by FD-DRIFTER; 03-23-2004, 06:25 AM.

Man that is really stupid. They shouldnt beable to do all that to you because you got a complaint. No proof = no conviction. Ive had stupid old people call the cops on me plenty of times saying ive been speeding through their neighbor hoods..Ive had cops come to my house and tell me about it and warn me that if they get more complaints they will set up patrol and radar in the neighborhood but they never could give me a ticket or anything cause there was no actual proof..What county is this anyhow>

it has happend before, and it can happen again. i think she had witnesses because the cops were saying they both said and they were saying, but anyway ive gotten in trouble from just complantes. hey drift star suck a nut. any way i know it will get me in trouble i just got the ticket from the police and it looks official so im not going to mess around with it i taking my lickings and screw it you know its not the end of the world i will get my car back soon enough and then all will be good. btw my first offence was when i WAS 16, and i have questions about it, i was in my moms car and i pulled into this empty school parking lot and tried to whip shittys but a camry doesnt seem to like that. but later that day we got a call about me driving crazy in a parking lot and a security guard called it in, i got in trouble hat to go do sts and what not but since there was no real cop present can that security guard is a security guard is that enough to call in a complaint and have it stick? i dont know, what ever. hey drift star suck a nut.

Yeah, several witnesses would confirm the story. That should be enough to get you a ticket. If it was just one person, probably not. Several people saying the same thing, yes. Also, how do they know it's you? Got your license plate? You drive by there often? I'm just curious how they picked out you specifically as opposed to a general wreckless driving by anybody.
As far as the true/falseness of this claim, all your stolen cars and such, eh, I don't care. I don't doubt it either. If you live in the wrong part of town, things will happen. I'm suprised you haven't gotten any of them back, especially if you've not visual modifications that would make it stick out. If it's stock looking, tough luck. To all the others, leave it alone. It's off topic anyways.

ok here is the truth
I was drifting the lakemerceed lots then a friend came and started to drift it also..
We stopped
Chilled about 15 minutes
the SFPD came!!
Told us people called and said we were doing doughnuts..
They towed my car and gave me a ticket for speed contest and exhibition of speed..
Tow cost me 400 bucks and the ticket was 650..
Yup about 1100 total out my pocket for this one.. 2 points also..
How bitching was that..
They also arrested me and took me to the station to ID me on the computers!! since i didnt have a picture ID..What PIGS!!
Oh well..

Towed for donuts?! Wait...were the police drooling when they took your car? Maybe they though there were donuts IN the car...yes, that explains everything.... lol
Sucks to hear that. Apparently the SFPD are quite a pain in the...well you know. (didn't feel like seeing **Censored**)
Note to self:
Leave immediately! Chilling = towed car, lol
Hmm, speed contest...did you explain your case?
Officer, drifting isn't about speed..........it all goes back to midevil times where..........one spring morning just like this, my mother, bless her soul, gave birth to me..........then in elementry..........and there was milk everywhere...........and now I'm in this parking lot minding my own business trying to drift, but the fuzz, i.e. you, keeps bringin' us down! Fight the power! <then you ran as fast as you could>

Wonder if the ripple effect would take place if I did.

I hate towing companies. I got towed for not having my Apt. parking permit. Told the guys it was finals week and didn't have time to buy one and that I would get one. Well 2 days later I wake up and my car is gone. I didn't know if it was stolen or what. I froze my butt off walking to the exam only to find out the jerks towed it in the middle of the night and didn't even have the nerve to tell me. I was so angry at them, I mean it was like somebody kidnapped your child.

You might want to look into your local laws. You don't know how powerful having law knowledge makes you.As long as you know your laws, what's acceptable, what's not,you can slip and avoid a lot of trouble.Cops only know certain laws and aren't familiar with any outisde of the obvious, they also tend to bend them to there taste as well. With enough law knowledge, you can throw the cops opinon out the window and literally put them to shame in court. If you present yourself well, provide suitable evidence in your defense, and show your law knowledge of that particular field, who do you think the judge is going to believe, the cop with limited knowledge,or the guy that knows his stuff? If O.J got off, then anything is possible.
You should just look into laws and ordinances, etc before you make hasty decisions.
