Anyone know what RHys Millens GTO's hood is made out of?

Kinda got me wondering what its made out of. Seems that at speed the hood crinkles up. Did he just get rid of all the bracing?

It was pretty heavily modified, it could of been just thin sheet metal. I really dont know.

honestly, i think what they did was just remove all the under hoos suports for lightness...and not really care about the aero

yea. i'm calling sheet metal. no point worrying about aeros or wrecking when that's entirely too possible on most race cars (and drifters in this case)

i'm guessin poo.....i'm almost 90% sure that i'm right....lol

looks like sheetmetal....could of removed thehood supports, but i doubt it....why bother removing the supports when you can go buy a piece of sheet metal cut it and BAM, you got a hood...

I dont think its sheet metal because it wouldn't flex like that (would cause creases). I think its more of a pre-formed plastic like the stuff used in dirt track racing (dirt noses, etc). The kind of stuff you can drop kick and its all G.
