Those are both FWD, eh...I'm not so big on e-brakers but eh...

The other choices are good. Go for the older supra.

      get a 240
with an sr20det swap and youll have a nice drifter that is easy to get parts
147 hp will be more than enough power to start!

A car that looks good? That's a very opinionated question. Everyone with have a different idea of "looking good." This is just personal opinion. As far as drifting goes, if you don't plan for it to drift, you have the choice of any car made. A wide range of upgrade parts for the car will definately limit the choices down to a select group.

Perhaps if you could clarify more as to the exact question or exactly what you're trying to ask of us.

you mean with the stock KA24DE you'll have a nice drifter that is easy to get parts for. The KA has enough low end torque to get the tires loose. Get a feel for the car first, then stiffen up the chassis. When you feel that you're ready to handle more power, then do the basic bolt ons or do a motor swap if you wish. It's a very popular misconception that the sr20 swap is mandatory for 240 owners, but DON'T dismiss the KA, it's great motor and a work horse as well.

im thinking i will be more into street racing than drifting. i really think an integra is what im looking for but i want a fast one. idk a lot about them but i know there is the vtec and the gsr. and the vtec is a 1.8 not a 2.2. whats faster a prelude or an integra.

If you want something that goes fast in a straight line, get an older muscle car. You can do whatever you want to it and you'll never have to pass smog, you wont have to worry about weight since the thing is probably a boat anyway. Just fix it up real nice, put a nice system in there, rip apart the engine since they're all fairly easy to work on (no computers or anything) and build it from the ground up.

If you have 5-7k to spend, you can have a mid 11 second mustang/camaro/firebird all day long....

That will pretty much make you the king of your street races....

Integra sucks for drag racing, so does the prelude. You need to drop alot of money to make them fast. If you want to drag, get a muscle car. A 240 would probably be better at drag racing then an integra.

that's right ...all you really need is probably just a LSD and suspension...you can get suspension for real cheap, im not sure about the companies but you can ask Chas, i think i read a topic on it and he said you could get something to do with suspension for like 70 bucks...

                        things to note

                        tires
                        suspension
                        drivetrain

                        thats about it...yep...::nods::

also i say try to find a FC...those cars are powerful even N/A

and if you tell us you have what 7-5k to throw around like jelly beans then you'll have a fast *Censored**Censored**Censored* car....you can do alot of stuff with the rx7

but really what i think is you should test drive all the cars yourself..maybe you like FF more then FR..go with FF, learn to grip drive rather then Drift, and at the same time you'll be fast on the 1/4

Get a 240sx stay with the KA24 until you can handle more power by turboing it or swap in a SR20.
