Formula D ATL- HUGE UPDATE!!

As of today close to 35 drifters will be competing in the inaugural event with over 20 coming from California alone!

A new section of track was paved just for the competition making the course a possible total of seven drift areas

EA Gamesd will be in attendance as they have signed on as the new title sponsor

An expected 400 cars will be in competition in the car show (if you haven't registered do it now!)

Some of the biggest models in the industry will be attending along with the Formula D umbrella girls

Japanese superstars Tarzan and Seigou Yamamoto will be in attendance to judge and perform exhibitions as well as Lotus with their new Elise

There will be filming at the event for an upcoming reality TV show based around drifting

Yes the Atlanta Drift event will be one to remember. Great of them to allow Drifting on Road Atlanta. I for one am not a big fan of the car show aspect of the event, I don't think the 2 should be mixed. It brings 2 entirely different crowds together who do not think a thing alike other than Import cars. Clashes could ensue and no one wants that. If it is a Drift event then it should be Drifting, not the entire aspect of the "Import nightlife" foolishness. I think you messed up there. At night Drifters, real Drifters, don't go see DJ's and car shows. They go out and Drive.
That part of your event will suck and suck hardcore for the Drifters. I'm sorry to point that out to you but that is the hard cold truth.

Other than that, you have put together something that will be fun. I will be there along with my team. I also think that your rules and regulations for being able to enter are way too regimented. It keeps 99% of people from competing. How will new talent be able to come up in the ranks if they can't compete due to strangling regulations.
