Just mention to your old man that apparently MX5's are good at drifting, ask him if he could show you how it should be done. Get him along to practice events etc.

I gaurantee he'll love it = free drifting 4u with permission

I took my dad's Miata out to the touge a couple of times. Two, to be exact. The econd time, I totalled it. Wait until you get your own car before you try to drift. And do it on a closed course, parking lot, whatever, when you do. Don't be stupid like I was.

yea, I agree, mine keeps me from killing myself on the touge, she acts as that voice of reason, keeping me from doing all of the stupid things I want to do but know I shouldn't. which is exacly why street racers don't need girlfriends
