I loved DriftAtlanta, to me it was better than Irwindale D1GP. It was just less restrictive, overall funner atmosphere. Anyways here's me and Tarzan!!!
Damn sounds like it was a great event!!! Can anyone out there donate some pics of the domestic cars drifting?? I'm always looking for more pics for my domestic drifting gallery. Thanks!!!!

That integra didnt do that good, I wish the cobras did good, the red one had a few good runs, I forgot which judge said it, but he said FB's werent the best drifters out there, and how about that M5...I wish he did better.
Uuchi during the exhibitions wasn't all that great i guess cause it wasnt his car but, when he did 3 solo passes in a row to get used to the car and he just kept getting faster and faster, smoother and smoother. That was the only run that really showed us how far of a gap there is from F-D to D-1.
OH MY GOD! did someone drift the AC Cobra??? if so please please get me some actions shots. You dont know how much i want to see that. Also if any one has any pics of the GTO (need to see how well hes doing) in sequence, or video, and of the pacific rim S13, pass them my way.
Originally posted by SaintDrift Who the hell gave them Vipers? Damn. I was wondering why the Viper driver was sporting an American flag in one of the pics I saw. He looks Japanese.
Mopar sponsored a team of Vipers, well i know for a fact one was there, i dont know if there was another.
Also the Japanese driver known as Tarzan drives a Viper GT car in a japanese series, he had it out there i supose for show and demonstration, he had it at the d1 too.

viper got first
chris foresburg's SR powered 350z got 2nd from DGtrials.com
dont remember who got 3rd
JR also from DGtrials.com driving the 240 converted falken car got 4th
Those were the standings at the end.
One of the Club 4AG 8-6's got 3rd.
There were 3 cobras out there, the red one was the best.
the cobras were okay, just there to show off, but they had to much power for those cars, and kept spinning out, i also think the drivers were a little carefull, since those cars would be hard to fix body pannels on
Drft Atl was the best time ever (besides the sun burn and about lost my voice). Most of the drifters were awsome. The cobras...all they could do was spin out. The tandems in the finals were so awsome. Alex P.(black 86) just about passed the viper it was close. Samuel Hubinette(mopar viper) totally deserved 1st i hate to say it but he kicked as$. Too bad about Gushi he rocked the house just about all w/e. uchii, yamamoto, and tarzan are the best and did well judging. I was impressed by Calvin W. he did awsome in the discount tires 240 hatch. All the qualifiers were pretty much down right amazing. It was so fun cheering for them. We should take a group from atl here and go to round 2 in Texas..anyone in??
