cool, if anyone has a listing of how all the guys finished that would be awesome, I want to see the point standing for the event and see who needs to do what to get more points as the other events come through.

Those cobras were overpowered, but too cautious, i dont think so, they were wild. Anyone see part of the lip fly off that blue cobra?


it was like the under part of the lip, but it came off.

If anything the Cobra probably isnt balanced very well. Thus making them difficult to control, but im sure with some work one could be drifted pretty damn well

The tandems in the finals were so awsome. Alex P.(black 86) just about passed the viper it was close. Samuel Hubinette(mopar viper) totally deserved 1st i hate to say it but he kicked as$. Too bad about Gushi he rocked the house just about all w/e. uchii, yamamoto, and tarzan are the best and did well judging. I was impressed by Calvin W. he did awsome in the discount tires 240 hatch. All the qualifiers were pretty much down right amazing. It was so fun cheering for them. We should take a group from atl here and go to round 2 in Texas..anyone in??

Hey guys newbie to the forum here just wanted to throw in my $.02 about DRIFT ATL. I live about 20 minutes from the track - lucky me =). Anyways yes that was definitely the best vehicular experience of my life. WAY better than the NOPI exhibition last fall. It was a very interactive experience. I mean where else would a professional drifter try to bum beer off of you after finishing his run (Alex Pfieffer, who else?) Saw loooots of nice cars and some cool hybrid stuff. Met the S14 Tiger Racing driver at Quick Trip about 2 hours before the event so that was cool. He was driving a T88 powered MKIV supra (mmmmmmmm) at the gas station. He didn't do too great in the event but he was an awefully cool guy. I tried my heart out to win the NFSU drift-along challenge but they guy who won was awesome. BTW for those of you who didn't hear, Need For Speed Underground had a tent set up with 8 PS2's running the game and the person with the highest score on sunday got to take a drift ride in the 350Z. The 350Z, Benihana Viper, GTO, and Mazdaspeed Miata all got on the little loop and where just tearing it up doing donuts and all kinds of crazy stuff litterally inches from each other's bumpers, and some lucky dude was right in the middle of it riding shotgun in the 350Z. Man it was nuts! You think they're about to smash into each other then they just whip it around and miss by inches. WOW! Man I experienced SOOOOO much stuff in the last 2 days that I never thought I would see I can't even recall it all right now. I've been depressed all day because now it's over and there is nothing left to look forward to. For all of you going to the shows later in the season, be prepared for a big downer the day after the show, lol. I guess now I have to sell my VR-4 and get an S-13, LOL. CRAAAAAZINESSSSSSS!!!

I liked the red cobra, and that M5, that was hott. Those FB's kept spinning out, they were crazy, and that MR2, it's tail just wanted to come out like a mo fo. Benson spun out alot, and got stuck in the gravel his first time out...I wanted to steal his lip that came off
