Yeah, its a heavier car, so be careful with it, it may be difficult to control, but its deffenately drift able. We have a few guys who drift those mark III Supras

AE86... eventhough they're hard to find for a good price nowdays... it is a cheap car to fix when things go wrong... and in drift things always break as you progress!!!

Not to mention you don't need a lot of power in the 86 to slide it since it's light and nimble. Many of the mods you can do to the 86 are cheap (though ghetto), they will get the job done. If you don't have LSD, you can weld the diff, if you need it lowered just cut the springs... then you'll have a perfectly driftable car hahaha IF there aren't other problems you have to fix first lol!!!

might want to be careful with the mk III's. they blow headgaskets pretty quickly

that one on your specs link looks nothing like mine. go to www.cardomain.com/id/jake92gt to see mine.

You might also want to look at the older MR2's they are good car's to drift and not many people mention them. They are a mid engine car and tend to oversteer easier. I do not know if you can find a cheap one but they are another car to add to your list when you are scouting the papers and the net.
