drifting.com FAQ
only problem is its in moderation and i dont think n00bs visit there. it might be smarter to have it stickied in the general chat forum.

the newbies are too ignorant to just search the forum. People should learn to do things themselves rather then needing others to always hold their hand. I reality anything can drift. It's all weight transfer and driver ability, so it doesn't matter what car it is. Even if drifting.com puts some sort of blocker for the first ten posts you can never completely eliminate the problem. Just like there will always be war, racism and conflict over religion no matter what.

why not just make a noob section where you can move all the FAQ threads there along with all the questions noobs will ask. i think this can help clear the clutter on the forums by moving all the qestions to one section and if possible certain sticky threads in that section so most general questions or whatever is just kept there. for example, if someone can make a thread that explains how to find a car, pick it, and all that ect. that noobs ask when they want some help. also keep the threads open and just delete any questions asked on those threads that are already answered but keep the good questions and answers for future reference so that people might not ask them again. this is just my 2 cents

The biggest problem is people dont search because they dont use the forums, they use the homepage with the top 20 on it. They will go into a thread they saw on drifting.com, then post a new thread, its just something we will have to put up with due to the lay out of the site. These are all good sugestions but honestly they arent ever going to end. Perhaps what we can do is add an Advanced section. New guys will be less likely to post in the advanced thread, then they would be likely to post in a newbie thread.
Keep the sugestions comming though
