I don't get what is going on in that Monte Carlo pic - is that the edge of the world or something? What is in all that black?

WRC is hardcore stuff, I remember watching it 5 years ago and seeing the crude graphics and computer animations and having Nicky do all the announcing.

I was blown away by the multi-car chase renderings and the explainations of temperatures and such...

Too bad there's so much NASCAR on speed, WRC is so much more exciting!

wrc on speed tv cuts out way too much racing just to fit the small time slot. It comes out to be more of a highlight commentary than watching a race.

Well jesus, how are they going to show you all 20-40 minutes worth of stage runs x all of the drivers, plus service areas and new developments or nuggets of wisdom like the comparison of Michillen versus Dunlop?

It sure as hell beats watching a rally in person - you stand around for hours waiting to see each car for about 15 seconds a piece and get rocks and dirt shot into your face, or they cancel the stage because you brought too many friends.

It would be cool is they had day-by-day coverage instead of those stupid ads for "crunch-master" and "motor millions" during the day...

they used to show it day by day on speed starting on friday through sunday... this whole rally in 2 hours thing is new since the 2003 season... i will take rally any way i can get it... i wish speed would show more SCCA pro rally
