    wheels matter?

I am using all season standard car tires, Cheap ones too.
Never thought spending a fortune for tires to drift and blow out were worth it.

i'm guessin your cheap, need tires that will last along time and will grip in all weather situations...in that case i reccomend....*drum roll*

        FUTURA TIRES FROM PEPBOYS!!!

you think i'm joking...i got them on my miata right now 205's and they got awesome wear they grip well in ALL weather situations and they have a nice balance to them where if i gas it hard i can get the rear sliding, but they're still sticky enough for auto-x so yeah...i like futura tires for the one's on a budget...

          For my '97 S14 KA+T

235/45-17 and 255/40-17 Yokohama AVS Sports works the best for me.

Yes, they are expensive, but they do last much, much longer drifting on a road course.

I was running Potenza sport something.. Basicly the CHEAP Potenzas.. they worked really well, fair amount of wet traction decent wear even while drifitng, decent grip for what you pay for them. Also they were cheap like just over 80 bucks a pop mounted balanced installed ect.. on my 205 65 15 steel wheels.
