actually allot of weight would make it harder for the car to move forward from a stand still. (think physics)

and do you honestly believe that dealer?

haha we love thoughts! thats is what us human great...n e ways like i was sayin u dont need a fr car to drift...and u dont need a awd car to drag...just stating that u said u would whip the floor with a sr engine supposedly compared to a boxer sti engine..see i love my 240 sx and yes i do have a sr20..good engine and yea its fast..duh...but i dont know ..u want a drag setup or a drift setup...and btw if u want somethin cheap and will whip the floor with stis get the old laser talon /eclipse with the 4g63 and do ur whiping...just my opinion....save urself the money...plus u get the turbo for ur whoop powwing. u still confuse me if ur goin sideways or a straight line. but be u warned the path of a used 240sx is a hard path ...somethin is always gonna cause u grief..but if u have urself the money ..knock urself out. just dont let the hp get to urhead. i also agree the wrx doesnt handle like i want it to be but everything can be worked around to get u around the corner...just gonna have to make sacrifices to what is a luxury and what is really needed to pull u away from the curb...just think it out..who knows maybe u will come across a really well built nissan...but whats the fun of buying a model that is assembled already?

just to let you know dude was talking about an sti he wants to drop the clutch in not an evo. dont the sti's have that dccd that you can change the torque settings? just keep the sti and set the dccd to 90% rear and 10% front. that should help a lot. unless you really want to get rid of it i think you should try this.

thats a good point, i forgot about the STI dccd.

well, we got my friends 240 up and running with the SR20 in it and all i can say is damn. hes got a full 3" turboback, hybrid FMIC and of course the SR20 and this thing pulls soo hard. we went to the races and he beat everything except a supra with 500hp. and he beat a EVO with an upgraded turbo, turboback and iternals pushing 26lbs of boost. man i love cars that weigh nothing. then after that we went hunting for civics with the s13 and my WRX, well lets just say between the WRX and the S13 the silvia came out the victor. i mean it was no challenge, he was just playing with me the whole time. this experience just made me want a 240sx even more. thing is now that we cant really kick it out sideways, car seems like it has too much power. definatly will need some suspension changes. man this thing is loud. maybe the fact that he has 18"s on it affects the drifting too. awesome thing is the car completed only cost 5k to build.

oh well ill post pics on here next time i go over there.

and i cant say anything bad about STI's, they are just too damn beautiful. yes they are insanely expensive for what you get but its worth it in my eyes. if the 04's came with a sound system i might think about it. the 05's have a system but they have gotten ugly. the 04's are much better.
