Congratulations to my friend Scott Betts on his FIRST PLACE Drift Showoff victory at Pikes Peak Sunday the 26th. Scott drifted his way to winning the amateur competition, outrunning the Falken RWD Integra (could we have it any other way?!) and getting props from Koguchi himself. Along with some prizes, Scott was suposed to be able to run with the pros after that, but they wouldn't let him due to wet conditions. WACK! But, nevertheless, we are proud of you Scott! Scott is only 18 years old and has been drifting for four years, and stared in an old Porsche 940 WAY before drifting was as popular as it is now.

Congrats! Any more info on what he was driving, who else placed, and what they were driving?

Scott drives a 240sx hatchback with a redtop SR. He only finished the swap around last Thanksgiving. As far as I know, he only has an exhaust, pod filter, basic suspension, stock wheels, and still the SMIC. Not that he has wont the event he got a free Bomex bodykit. Wheels are on the way.
