your car is the ultimate of them all. Is there any other future modifications.

Just i thing how much did the whole setup cost

hey dude, hows the scene in perth?

theres always mods in the future, im thinking about making the car competition only, its not very steerlegal these days sadly..

cost? havrent done sums but it would be well under 10k to get it to the level of a 35K + drift car, done a lot myself

i'm a toyota guy all the way, but i have alot of respect for someone like you who can do that much custom work to get a different manufacture's engine and suspension pieces into that car. that is really really nice.

thats definitly one of the finest AE86's ive ever seen, made my day really

i do have a few questions though, are you using the stock rear end? looks like 8" or 9" wheels with no flares, by the way which looks great.

also how are the tein winding masters?

                      once again great job

Using a ae86 rear end with TRD 2 way lsd.

they are 8 inch wide rims, no flares yet but they are on the cards

                        teins are bloody excellent!!!!

Oh yea, about the car, its nice and clean. I personally like the Trueno instead of Levin but you have done it nice, lets call it the ..... S86 or the AE12, hehhehe.

No way! I cant believe my luck. Well at least your in Austrailia!

You may rember me. I asked you about the rear end in my TE72 a while ago. Well since i dont have the title for the corolla it hasnt been my first priority for a few months. I found an S13 for $850 that just happened to fit every criteria of my dream car. Black,DOHC,coupe,5 spd.,SE. It was the exact car i had been dreaming about for the past five years but could never find for a descent price. Anyway you know how drifting goes. I totaled the car last month, got lucky and didnt hurt myself (thank god!), but the damage to the body/chassis was extensive. Well Im in the process of dismantling the car right now and had planed on using the KA24DE with a turbo and 5spd. in the Corolla with a Ford 8.8 rear end and the stock linkage setup. The front end is what has been holding me up. My TE has recirculating ball steering not Rack&Pinion so i cant descide weather to try to use the S13 front crossmember/suspension/steering rack, or try to hodgepodge the TE crossmember with the AE Rack&Pinion?suspension and the KA mounts. I hope I didnt confuse you. I confuse myself sometimes. I guess what you could help me with the most is some pics of the front suspension set up. Some good pics in the wheel well with the wheel off would really help. And some detail shots on stuff like the steering and brakes.

Anyway the CAE86 looks awesome! Hopefully I will be the KATE72!

                              Thanks

defo swap the s13 subframe into the TE, the older car wont cope for long with extra stress on its already aged crossmember.
