How do you get sponsored?

Okay, I'm serious into drifting though I'm a beginner. I've been into drifting for almost 3 years and I just got my 240. What do you have to do to get sponsored? I know that paying off my car plus saving for mods making only $8.33 an hour is gonna take literally FOREVER! Any info would be great.
