its gonna be run just like the feb28th event, which means that Japanese will dominate.

I beg to differ. After 10 months of practice, I think the U.S. is gonna step up and give Japan a run for their money. As it was Samuel got into the top 10 last Feb., and that was 10 months of full time drifting before now. I think the D1 is gonna be wild. I just hope they play music during the event. That was one thing I really liked about Formula D. I'm sure the JGTC will be great, but I don't think it will have the interactive qualities of the D1.

D1 is too common and we all know about it....its nothing new but JGTC will finally be done on US soil so thats cool!
