Yup i saw some vids. Im glad to hear that hes getting it though. Hes the only one drifting a FD in FD. I hope Calvin drives another FD again though. I met him a long time ago before he was popular and hes the reason im keeping at it w/ mine. When i first took my FD to the track i spun out constantly it was until my 3rd drift event that i was getting used to it. Some cars are just easier than others.

What about an early 90s factory supercharged mr2. Ive never even heard of anyone trying to drift one. Theyre pretty cheap around here and im thinking of buying one.

never really had experience with them but i know that have this one engine I think its an Alantic F1 engine that produces 240bhp at the wheels all motor.. 10000rpms it can rev up to I think.. hehe.. not quite sure on the rev but positive on the hp.

mr2s grip more than drift. Grip is faster than drift

i've heard that too, but this is a drifting site so one could assume we would be trying to drift them.

My friend had an AW11 that he could drift pretty well. It just takes time to get used to the car. I think the whole thing that MR2's aren't good for drifting is BS. You can drift ANYTHING RWD, as long as you have the skill to do so.

Just watch the Drift Bible, Keiichi states alot of cars that he can drift and the diffrent behavior they have, he did use the MR2 and he spun it out cause of so much oversteer. Pretty informative DVD I think.

                      I drift my 92 Automatic MR2, and my 85 manual MR2.
yes its an automatic, but I was able to run down the mounatin faster than the nissan guys while executing drifts. We were all new, but it was more dangerous for me. Plus I did have several close calls and a decapitated street sign as a souvenier. The AW11 is the better drift car of the two and easier to control sideways. I an change the angle mid-drift as I please, but the switch from one angle to the next is fast. Just be faster than the car. I know this is easier said than done, but I've been driving nothing but MR2's for 11 years. I hope someday to see if I can handle it on a drift day since I have no competitive experience. Just having fun.

                        It's Formula Atlantic. They use a 4AGE. F1 is a different series.

It is much stiffer and doesnt have all those technological sfuff like the nsx. example : lsd, tcs (total traction control). Its all skills baby! like a car should be especially an exotic. NSX is to easy to drive.. i driven one before at the dealer.. its good but it isnt fun.
i find this comment funny how u state u have driven an NSX before but u said at dealer... thats the stupidest thing i have heard u act like u raced back in forth around the dealer and since your a pro driver the NSX sucks hahahaha sorry buddy you sound like your a 15 year old ... and of course a lighter more powerful car will be faster and more fun but i think you have to ACTUALLY drive both cars on a track to see the ups and downs of both cars
