Basicly in other words, the Esprit wins in the circuit due to its high performance in suspension, aerodynamics, handling, power, heritage, and one fine as hell looking car that woop the NSX anyday on the track.

I think that sums it up pretty well.. don't you think.. and Yes the K Rover series is better then the little whining VTEC's and sorry to say this but VTEC aint *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored* but some electrical wiring to open up cams and valves..

And yes the NSX is a very good car compare to other cars in its price range and yes right NOW i cannot afford either cars but Yes I have driven a NSX and NO i havent driven and ESPRIT (dealers wont let) but I can say from people who own them and clubs that they are better cars in the track.

vtec essentially lets you run hot cams in a street car and still have some low-end umph.

...or you can just run hot cams and rock it that hard all the time.

I am fully aware what 133 lb-ft is like in a 2000lb car, im also aware what that kind of torque (and then some) feels like in a 1550 lb scirocco, I'm just mentioning that the engine lacks torque and it would be faster if it had better torque, but I am not sure if it has a close-gear-ratio transmission so I am not sure whether it would really make a difference with proper setup. However, the lotus is $39,000 so I'd take it in a heartbeat. It's got too much potential (drop in a good light engine, perhaps from a suzuki GSX series model, good tires and improved suspension and you've got yourself an unbeatable combo.

The Elise has a Lotus tuned ECU for the GTS engine and its not all of the parts in the Engine is stock and I think that the gear ratio is turned differently.

The reason why the elise weights in around 1600-1800lbs is because of its chasis. It's not a standard steel chassis as like the Esprit except that it is zinc coated.

The Elise chassis is a remarkable piece of engineering. Made from extruded aluminium glued and riveted together to form an immensly stiff and light weight platform on which to built an open top car. The bare chassis weighs about 70kg and the rivets are only there to prevent peeling in the event of a crash.

if its on your cell, all camera phones that I know of are capable of sending pics to e-mail addresses.
