The Yokohama "Drift Experience" returns to California with drifting drivers, an exclusive D1 Productions video and Yokohama's PARADA Spec-2 girls.
FULLERTON, CA -Bringing drifting back to the fans that made it a hit, the Yokohama "Drift Experience" returns to California for Hot Import Daze on October 2. After stops in Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Dallas and Atlanta, the Yokohama "Drift Experience" is expected once again to bring crowds to a halt at the San Mateo Expo Center in San Mateo, CA. Showcasing the sights and sounds of professional level drifting at it's finest, an exclusive D1 Productions video will take fans through the best and worst drifting moments on both Japanese and American soil. Displayed on a 14-foot big screen, this video along with other drifting pieces will be showcased throughout the night.
Appearances will be made by drivers Ken Gushi (Gushi Auto), Ernie Fixmer (Team Rotora), Benson Hsu (Team KAAZ), and Daijiro Yoshihara (Pacific Rim Drift). The ladies of the newly announced drift team, Team Drifting Pretty will also be on hand with members Nadine Toyoda, Casidi Tanaka, Noelle Hodac and Amanda Lam for autograph signings, photos and information. Yokohama model Sunisa Kim along with Yokohama's PARADA Spec-2 girls will make special appearances throughout the night at the Yokohama booth. In addition, the Yokohama "Drift Experience" will have some of the top drift vehicles from Formula Drift and D1 Grand Prix USA on display for the fans.
The Yokohama "Drift Experience" first appeared at Hot Import Nights (HIN) Los Angeles as the only exhibit to promote the motorsport of drifting and will conclude its tour at HIN Miami on December 11.
