Hmmmm a race track in the middle of the desert, with no towns or cops in site, sounds like a plan! Thats nothing though, people will post anything on ebay, even they're town or virginity for that matter. A very VERY materialistic society that we live in.

The track is right next to the largest city in New Mexico, but all things considered I guess it is in the middle of a desert.

Seriously, it is a pretty nice setup, just wish road racing was more popular in new mexico so attendance can come up a little and cost can go down.

People from the surrounding areas should seriously come if there is another drift day. Since attendance is pretty small you should be able to get at least an hour, more likely 1.5 hours of track time. It could even be more then that depending.

How does this compare to other more crowded venues(curious, I simply don't know)?

BOYG - (bring your own Gas)
          Gates open at 8:00AM

Lapping/Drifting day out at Sandia Motor Sports Park.

So you have seen the pictures and wished you could buy it, but here is your chance to drift a different course.

www.sandiamotorsports.com for driving directions and other info.
This is just a normal event, but it would be really nice to see some guys from out of town. Since it is a normal event that means you will get a ton of track time for your money.

I will post more info in a different thread later.

                Aww man...

If only I hadn't bought 3,999,800 $.99 burgers at Wendy's earlier, I could SO afford that!
