used coilovers

Hey guys, i've been looking around for some used coilovers and i found these used JIC's

here

but i was just wondering if you guys thought it was worth the risk. the guy says he's in thailand which kinda bothers me
I liked the price just wondering if you guys think i should get them or not. i'm gonna email him and try and get more details and i'll get back to you. Thanks

JICs brand new suck. Have you ever found somthing that works better used than new??

used depends 100% on the rebuildability of the coilovers and if you like the brand. If they are rebuildable and you want them... get them. If you are getting them because they don't cost as much as new ones slap yourself and then look for new ones.

well i was just originally planning on getting some AGX's and some eibach sportlines but i just found these and some others on ebay and wondering if anyone had gotten used coilovers before. I am just trying to explore my options right now. thanks though

well heres the down low. Agx's on a 240 with its suspenison will bottom out all the time with more than a 1 inch drop. You can get them short stroked but that cost's like 200 so yeah.

Jics they suck they blow i hate them. 2 years ago they were the ish to have. Now a days they are just ridding on old fame. They seize all the time the valving is not matched to the spring rate which is suppose to be the biggest plus to a coilover and the valves have been none to freeze in a postion so like one shock will be stuck on full comprision will the rest are still moving right. there hunks of total *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored*

yah kinda late to chime in, but yes, I hear sooo many negative things about JIC's suspension. Not to mention, JIC USA=poopoo

i go with Cusco Full Coilover suspension with adjustable camber plates.

this is pointless, lol, but, yes. nothing plays better than a worn in strat. a new one just doesn't feel the same, edges are still too sharp. 7 years of playing and these things are now becoming apparent.
