  • Are these coilovers any good

I saw these on Ebay. They are Megan racing. Let me know what you think. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...929469392&rd=1

Megan Racing has a reputation for cheap stuff, and I doubt these are any different. Notice the omission of the spring rates. Also notice the single lower mounting tab, compared to the dual lower mounting tabs of all the name-brand coilovers. This leads to more flex and possible component failure under duress. The 32-way damping doesn't matter for beans and is 16 ways too many for the street. The camber plates are also rather thin and there is no mention of a rust-preventative coating anywhere. The two-year warranty is tempting, but who knows how much downtime you'll meet. I'd recommend saving for a bit longer and buying KTS, Silk Road, or Tein coilovers.

i'd trust the more popular and often used coils... i use Cusco setup (shocks, adjustable camber plates, etc) and im happy with them and they havent caused any problems..
